The Unseen University (UU) is a school of wizardry in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series of fantasy novels. He is known as 'Ridcully the Brown' due to his affinity for small animals, which he hunts with a crossbow he uses on university corridors. The Bursar, Professor A.A. Dinwiddie, initially took the post expecting safety but has become almost completely insane by Reaper Man, kept barely functional by experimental dried frog pills. The Librarian, originally Dr Horace Worblehat, was transformed into an orang-utan in The Light Fantastic and refuses to return to human form, communicating primarily with 'Ook'.
